I am incredibly proud to share some exciting news! Grasslands Elementary has been announced as a 2025 California Distinguished School! This prestigious honor is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire school community. Out of thousands of schools across the state, Grasslands is one of only 336 schools to receive this recognition.
This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to closing the achievement gap and ensuring exceptional student performance. We earned this distinction by demonstrating growth in academic achievement, fostering a positive school climate, and showing significant improvement in key areas such as suspension rates and chronic absenteeism.
Over the past three years, we have worked diligently to create a school environment where students feel valued, supported, and excited to learn. Through our collective efforts we have built a strong foundation for student success.
Let’s continue striving for academic excellence and ensuring Grasslands Elementary remains the best school for our students, families, and staff.
