The Site Council is a key organization to school operations. Each school site is required to have a site council which is comprised of specifically proportioned representation of students, teachers, other school staff, parents and administrators.  This organization focuses on activities and events identified as key in supporting the success of our students. These areas of focus are outlined in the LBHS School Plan for Student Achievement.  Elected officers and representatives from the site council attend district and other site level meetings.  

The council is made up of members elected to two year terms which are staggered. Elections to fill any open seats occur at the first meeting of each year.  The members of each group (i.e., students, teachers, etc.) elect their own representatives.  We are fortunate to have a large site council, based on a large number of interested individuals.  Our attendance at these meetings is strong, even by those who are not elected members, as this is the key place for discussions related to nearly all areas of interest and activity at Los Banos High School.

Our meetings are conducted in both English and Spanish.
