Do they look nervous? Nah, they got this! These 6th graders are getting ready to deliver their speeches for the student body elections. Voting will take place in the 6th grade classrooms following the speeches. Good luck, everyone!!
Mrs. Coelho's Kindergartners collaborated with their big buddies in Miss Williams' 3rd grade class for Dot Day. International Dot Day is September 15 and it is a celebration of creativity, courage and collaboration. Peter H. Reynolds' book, “The Dot,” is about a girl that is brave enough to “make her mark” by just making a small dot on her paper. That dot turns into confidence and courage and becomes inspiration to others.
Great job working together, Pioneers!

Mrs. Betschart's 2nd graders participated in a team-building STEM exercise in class last week. It was the same activity the Westside staff took part in over summer. The students had to work together to move the cups -- without using their hands! So much fun!
