R.M. Miano Elementary School third grade students visited the Grasslands Environmental Education Center at the Los Banos Wildlife Area. Students that understand the ecological importance of our wetland resources will become adults that make informed decisions regarding habitat conservation.

FEV is an online tutoring service that provides students with a 1-on-1 personalized, engaging instruction with a virtual tutor during scheduled sessions.

National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day honors the death of 2,403 service members and civilians, as well as the thousands injured, during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Remembering Pearl Harbor serves to remind us how the Greatest Generation saved us from tyranny and brought us peace through reconciliation.

Special Education Day commemorates the signing of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) into law on this day in 1975. IDEA granted access to children with special needs to free and quality public education.
