You may remember we posted about David Barreras from Miano ES who had the opportunity to represent Team USA in Muaythai in Bangkok, Thailand recently! Well here is an update. David had the best experience ever from Tiger Park to Cultural exchange in a Thailand elementary school. He trained hard daily and fought his fight vs Spain. He matched his opponents energy well but lost a close match. He loved his experience and all his of his teammates. He is now looking to the future, where he plans to earn a spot on next year's USA Team to finish what he started and go for the Gold. Team USA ended the tournament with 5 Gold, 4 Silver, and 7 Bronze medals. The team also Ranked 4th out of 80 countries!
#LosBanosUSD is so proud of David for his commitment and we can't wait to see what the future holds for him, it's looking very bright!
